A-finals round 2 finished!

Masters and Open Stock final decision re-scheduled for round 3 of the A-finals.

Off the tone it was Ronald, Marc and Jilles. Ronald was not able to pull a gap, so Marc applied some pressure. Entering the corner after the chicane, Marc clipped a cerb but quickly recovered and therefore did not loose too much time. This allowed Jilles to move up to second. Now it was on Jilles to put pressure on Ronald. Ronald, Jilles and Marc drove flawless during the remaining 3 minutes. It was intense, but not really exciting. No one was able to pull a gap or get closer to anyone. In the end it was Ronald taking the victory of round 2 in front of Jilles and Marc.

Open Stock saw Tobias Wiebach in front of Daniel Wohlgemuth and Matthias Lang. Matthias rolled after 1 minute taking him out of the fight for the lead. Meanwhile Daniel was closing in on Tobias and tried to pass him. He hit him at the rear end of his car but waited for Tobias until he recovered. This allowed Matthias to close the gap again.

Daniel tried another move on Tobias, but hit him again causing a Stop-and-Go penalty for him. Matthias took this present with a smile, passed Tobias and Daniel and cruised home this victory without any pressure in front of Daniel and Peter Sobota.

Daniel Anthes also won the second final in the LRP-HPI Rookie Challenge making him the winner of this years Rookie challenge. In Classic, Thorsten Zorn got off the line and never looked back to claim the overall TCM LRP-HPI Classic-Challenge title for 2010.
